The Maywood Public Library District is seeking positive, customer

service-oriented people to be part of the library team.

Library Assistant - part time
$15-17 DOQ,  18 hours/week
Evenings and Saturdays required

 

Primary duties include

• Assisting in the Adult Services department with patron reference interactions and programming.

• Support the planning and execution of adult-focused events and activities.

• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons of all ages.

Minimum requirements

• Some college preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in a library or customer service setting.

• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Tuesday, 5:30-9:00

• Wednesday, 5:30-9:00

• Thursday, 5:30-9:00

• Saturday, 9:00-5:00
