Fines
Maywood library cardholders will not accrue fines for Maywood material that is checked out until it is considered lost. This excludes items from our Library of Things (for example, hotspots, games, and glue guns).

Fines on materials from other libraries are based on the policies of the lending library.

Fines can be paid at the library (in cash) or
online using a credit card or debit card.
Renewals
Maywood Library material (excluding Library of Things items) can be renewed by phone or online.

For these items, you will be automatically renewed for up to two renewals if: your account is in good standing, the book is eligible for renewal, and if no holds are placed.

The policies on renewing loaned materials are dependent on the policies of the home library.
